The brief was to remind the public of Volkswagen Touareg's credentials as a great off-road vehicle, and thus encourage them to buy a Touareg and explore the great outdoors. We decided to entice people to explore the great outdoors in a Touareg by illustrating that if you don't get out of your city, your city becomes your whole world. To demonstrate that the Touareg is the vehicle to challenge you to explore beyond your comfort zone,
we targeted well known 'suburban islands' across South Africa.

We inserted large maps into local publications as posters and ran full-page press ads.
