For Halloween, we retold the scariest ones to warn vacation renters about our direct competitor, and to instead "Bewarebnb." Because with VRBO, there's never a host. The campaign launched as a TikTok Live on Halloween, sparking a wave of people sharing their own Airbnb horror stories in response. Those who participated in the livestream got a Halloween discount to book on VRBO.
